Over the weekend, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit 2018 was held in Qingdao, a coastal city famous for its beautiful sceneries and rich historic culture; being the host city of Olympic sailing games also earned great reputation for it. To better present the city image to people from all over the world, in this February, the local authority introduced a 448 sqm LED spectacular from the award-winning brand AVOE in Qingdao Eastern Bus Station, one of the busiest stations in the transport network of Qingdao City.

“It is at one of the cross that people must pass by when entering or leaving the city and the massiveness of this LED screen enables it to be more eye-catching”, commented the director of Qingdao Municipal Transport Development Group Co, “for the past a few weeks it has been mainly used as a media channel to demonstrate city image by playing content of Qingdao sceneries and its culture, public-interest advertisement and spirit of the 19th Congress and the SCO Summit. We hope that our guests could feel the warm atmosphere of the SCO Summit and our strong expectation on this summit from the moment they enter the city”.

Qingdao is a seaport city looking out to the Yellow Sea with high humidity and salinity. When it came to outdoor LED display solution that should meet the high requirements for visual performance, reliability and energy-efficiency, Avoe became the obvious product of choice.
